Facebook Makes Important Changes to Your Business Page

Jay Owen Marketing, Social Media 1 Comment

Recently, Facebook has changed the layout and streamlined the look of all business pages. If your business has a Facebook page, important changes have been made that can actually help your company get better connected with your customers.

New Layout
The new design featured on business pages updates the profile picture and cover photo so they don’t overlap. Your page name and username are now displayed below your profile picture, so your brand is immediately recognizable. Images also load faster and are located between your page tabs and general information.

Better Navigation
Page tabs are now more accessible and can be viewed under the logo. A new vertical navigation bar on the left side of the page ensures people can easily find important information about your business.

Buttons Are More Visible
All buttons and links are larger and featured more prominently. Your like, message, and share buttons are now directly below your cover photo, making it easy for people to get connected with you. Call-to-Action buttons (such as “shop now,” “call now,” etc.) are also now bigger, brighter and more visible to guests on your page.

Keeping up with all these changes on Facebook and other social media sites is not always easy, but it is important. These changes are a huge reason why Facebook should not be your website. Read our blog about that here.
